In book three of the Japapa trilogy, Sharkman enters a wormhole to install an anti-global warming device fifty years in the future. When the demons, Baka and Japapa, become aware of Sharkman's plan, they prepare to stop the installation. At this point, the powerful magician known as The Seer works with the three teens and the voodoo priestess, Mama Atabei, to save Sharkman and the project.

 

To avoid capture by the demons, The Seer employs time travel to transport the teens, Sharkman, Mama Atabei, and the time machine inventor to various planets. During their escape, the group must assume the physical characteristics and behaviors of the inhabitants of each world they visit. As they race to keep ahead of the demons, the teens have fascinating and exciting experiences where they become acquainted with bizarre modes of transportation and unique buildings constructed of glittering diamonds.
